Where does Mickayla live?
Mickayla lives in Union City, IN. She is a 1hr45min commute one way to the gym every day. Mickayla lives in a very small rural farming community with her mom Michelle, her dad Jeremy, and her 19 year old brother Jordan.
What is Mickayla's favorite event?
Mickayla's favorite event depends on the day, but is probably beam or floor. She loves the performance aspect of floor. She would consider bars her most improved event over the last few years.
What is Mickayla's greatest accomplishment?
Mickayla considers her greatest accomplishment to be qualifying to the 2014 U.S. Challenge and placing 3rd on bars which used to be her hardest/worst event. Most recently placing in the top 10 at JO Nationals in AA, qualifying to the Region 5 All Star Team, and obtaining a college scholarship.
What does Mickayla do for fun outside of gymnastics?
In Mickayla's time outside of gymnastics she enjoys competitive dancing at Inspire@DDS, socializing with friends and family, and having some down time.
What school does Mickayla attend?
Mickayla attends Indiana Connections Academy. She attended regular public school at Randolph Eastern School Coorperation until the completion of 3rd grade. She then switched to online schooling to better facilitate her gymnastics schedule and the drive.
